The On the Run Runner by Sandy Gervais of Pieces from My Heart is reminiscent of the chickens her Grammie raised. Some were saved for egg laying and others were dressed and put in the freezer for winter meals. It looks like these chickens are hoping to be the ones kept for egg laying.
