Stacy West was born and raised up North in the state of Minnesota. She grew up surrounded by generations of family and learned many thing from her grandma and great grandmother. She learned handiwork and sewing, and she feels blessed to be able to share her creative talents with others today. 

She works with various mediums like wool, fibers, and of course quilting cotton. She enjoys traditional colors and small prints, and adding cotton and wool into her designs. She has her own design company called Buttermilk Basin Design Co.
